The Philosophy Behind Dialed In Genetics
Two years ago, we looked at the legal market and saw a major structural flaw: modern genetics have been babied indoors under perfect, sterile grids for so long that they've lost their immune systems. They have weak bones. The second a pest hits them or a gray mold spore drops, they turn to mush or throw intersex traits under stress.
Dialed In Genetics was built to change that.
We run a data-driven, closed genetic loop. We use the winter to hunt through hundreds of seeds indoors inside high-density gutter systems—pushing the plants to their absolute metabolic limits using automated irrigation strategies to force a grueling 5.0 pwEC generative cue. If a plant can't stack tight nodes or handle heavy salt loads, it's out.
Then, we take those indoor champions outside for the summer and let nature hold the scythe. We don't spray them with systemics, and we don't protect them from pathogens. We actively invite mold, caterpillars, and heavy wind to test their structural and immune thresholds.
